About	Beverly (Harkins) Huey, 84, died March 18, 2017, after a two month illness where she was comforted by her loving family and friends. Beverly lived her entire life in Zanesville where she was born May 1, 1932, the daughter of Ted and Gertrude (Boggess) Harkins. She graduated from Lash High School in the class of 1950. Beverly married Richard (Duke) Huey on May 24, 1952 at St. Thomas Catholic Church where she was a life-long, faithful member. Beverly started working at Leffler’s Drug store when she was 15 years old and later worked at the Maple Drive-In Theater, Essex Wire and Linden Sports Center where she retired from after more than 25 years of service. Beverly is survived by three sons; Joe Huey, John (Marianne) Huey, Jim (Sherri) Huey, ten grandchildren; Jake Huey, Jess Huey, Claire Huey, Jamaica Crom, Cody Huey, J.D. Huey, Josh (Nicole) Huey, Kyle (Sian) Shackelford, Tyler (Kelsey) Shackelford and Molly (Matt) Day, six great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters in-law. In addition to her parents Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Richard, in 2011 and a daughter in-law; Kathy. Friends may call at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 21st at Hillis, Combs and Nestor Funeral Home where a Catholic service will be held at 10:00 am, followed by burial at Memorial Park.
