About	Delores Elizabeth Smith, 82, of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. She was born to the late Mildred & Gabriel Brandfass July 21, 1934 in Zanesville, Ohio. Delores is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, McKinley "Mack" Smith, who she married on August 9, 1952. Also surviving are her son, Jeffery Smith; her daughter Nyla (David) Watton; five granddaughters, Melinda Alic, Alisha (Shawn) Cooper, Anna Ball, Jessica (Jeff) Smith & Trisha Hartman; one grandson, Joseph (Monica) Ball; nine great grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, Carleigh, McKenzie, Elly, Liza, Wren, Addison & Thomas and her two beloved fur babies Tammy & Babycakes. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and close friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, father and two brothers, Pete Brandfass & Robert Brandfass. She was a resident of Zanesville, Ohio her entire life. She graduated from Lash High School in 1951. She was a devoted Christian and a lifelong member of the Central Trinity United Methodist Church. She served on many committees and was a member of the choir for 75 years. Family and friends were Delores' passion and delight. Delores loved to host and entertain. She enjoyed singing, cooking, sewing, playing cards, and gardening outdoors. She canned 100 quarts of tomatoes last year. She was an avid reader and enjoyed painting and crafts. She also loved to travel and camp with her husband and has visited the entire contiguous United States. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her & Mack over the years. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM, Thursday, March 9, 2017 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE, OH. Services will be held at 11AM Friday, March 10, 2017 at Central Trinity United Methodist Church, 62 S. Seventh St., Zanesville, OH with Pastor Steve Judson officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
