About	Herbert Edward Mesre, 73,of Zanesville passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Genesis Hospital. He was born in Zanesville, on December 1, 1942, the son of the late Samuel and Mary MaKool Mesre. He was a member of the VFW Post 1058, American Legion Post 29 and St. James Episcopal Church. He was and avid horse lover, owning many race horses over the years and proudly served our country and protected our freedom in the U. S. Army. He is survived by a sister, Marguerite Mesre of Zanesvile, a brother George Mesre of Zanesville and a niece, Jodi Witte of Pittsburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Nick Mesre and Moses "Uncle Mose" Mesre and by two sisters, Yvonne Mesre and Josephine Mesre. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
