About	Wanda L. Parsons, age 80 of Nashport, OH died 2:45 PM, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, OH. She was born Saturday, May 25, 1935 in Zanesville, the daughter of Don Bracken and Lela (Jasper) Bracken. Wanda was a graduate of the Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing. She was a former member of Market Street Baptist Church and attended North Terrace Church of Christ. She retired following 20 years of service with Bethesda Hospital as Charge Nurse for the Psychiatric Ward. She enjoyed spending time on the Muskingum River boating with her family. Wanda is survived by two sons: David Pennington of Nashport and Stephen Pennington of Chandersville; one grandson: William “Chance” Pennington of Chandersville; one sister: Dorothy Stotts of Zanesville; two brothers: Jack (Nancy) Bracken and Bill (Dot) Bracken; sister-in-law Martha Bracken of Zanesville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Ronald and Douglas Bracken. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville. A funeral service will be held to celebrate Wanda’s Life at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue Zanesville, with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating. Burial will conclude in the Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville.
