About	Arline 'Ruth' Barnes, 86 ZANESVILLE - Arline "Ruth" Barnes, 86, of Zanesville, died at 1:26 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Cedar Hill Care Center. She was born June 1, 1921, in Zanesville to the late Harry and Helen Glaser Drake. Arline was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, and of the Ladies Aid and Golden Ages societies of the church. Surviving are three sons, Thomas (Sharon) Barnes of St. Louis, Mo., Michael Barnes of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Steve (Meghan) Barnes of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister, Marguerite Neff of Zanesville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Barnes; and a sister, Virginia Drake. Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. with services following on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Bryan & Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave., with Pastor Larry R. Kudart officiating.
