Frances I. Passwaters, 67, of 1332 Potts Lane, died at 4:40 am Sunday, February 26, 1989, at Southeastern Ohio Hospice Center following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Passwaters was a life long resident of Zanesville and was a member of the Zane Grey Old Auto Club and a former member of the Brighton Presbyterian Church.
Born June 7, 1921, in Zanesville, she was a daughter of Grover and Hattie Flowers Bell.
Surviving are her husband, Virgil E. Passwaters, whom she marred in 1940; two sons, Earl E Passwaters, of My Drive and Gary L. Passwaters of Clay Pike; two daughters Bonnie J. McPeck of Old River Road and Kay Higgins of Hedgewood Ave.; eight grandchilderen; three brothers, Ralph Bell of Columbus and Harry Bell and Russell Bell both of Potts Lane; three sisters, Virginia Bain of Newark, Louise Grimsley of East Drive, and Helen Adams of Robin Court.
