About	Alvin Larry Hill Jr., 64 of Heath, formerly of Zanesville was upgraded to his heavenly home on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at his home.He was born August 23, 1950 in Zanesville, to the late Alvin Hill and Lois E. (Green) Hill. He grew up in Zanesville where he graduated from Zanesville High School. He moved to Newark where he went to work at Commune Color. He was well known and liked in the community for his warm and light hearted personality. He was very polite and caring toward others and never met a stranger. Most remember him for his jokes and laughter, as he would meet and interact with others. He lived a quiet life in the community loving others. While living in Zanesville he was a member of the Union Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Coleman Chorus.He is survived by his children: Latricia Hill of Columbus, Ohio and Alonda Hill of Mesquite, Texas. He has one granddaughter Alexus L. Hannah of Columbus, Ohio. Also his sisters and brother: Joan Coleman of Newark, Carolyn (Tony) Payton of Heath, Ursula Milton of Newark and Martha Rucker of Granville and Mark "Luther" of Coshocton and his aunt Patty Edwards of Zanesville and many nieces and nephews. He was married to Yvonne (Royster) Hill for 10 years and has a longtime special friend Beth Willy.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara (Tablor) Hill of 6 years. One granddaughter Ka'Ronna Hill. Also three uncles; Allan Green, David Green and Robert Nutter and three aunts: Mary Wyatt, Jean fields and Alberta Burke.Three words that sum up Larry's life are "Lord, Family and Friends."Friends may call from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, OH. A funeral service to celebrate Larry's life will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home 935 Forest Avenue Zanesville with Pastor Anthony Payton officiating.
