About	Timothy Wharton McKee, 63, formerly of Zanesville, died December 3, 2014, at Heartland-Fairfield Nursing Center following a series of recent illnesses.He was born January 23, 1951 in Coshocton the son of the late Charles Raymond McKee and Evelyn Wharton McKee. The family moved to Zanesville in the mid 1950's where Tim attended grade school and graduated from Zanesville High School in 1969. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Muskingum College and a Master's Degree in Mathematics from The Ohio State University. Tim taught high school math before teaching math at Columbus State College. He was always interested in art and spent many hours drawing sketches. Tim also enjoyed computers and music, and played in the Zanesville Memorial Concert Band in years past.Tim is survived by a brother, James (Mary) McKee of Zanesville; nephew, Dr. Michael McKee of Westerville; aunts and uncles, William (Mary) Wharton, Betty June (Louis) Huck, Mrs. Ruby McKee all of Marietta, Mrs. Robert Wharton of Buckhannon, WV; and many cousins.The family would like to thank the staff of Heartland, Genesis Good Samaritan and Select Specialty Hospital for their excellent care.A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. Zanesville with Rev. Matt Blau officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery.
