Kathy Lynn Miller Smith, 48, of Zanesville, died at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at Genesis Hospice, Morrison House.
She was born Saturday, May 1, 1954, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Rita Chema Miller and Forrest Miller of Zanesville. She was employed in the meat department at Big Bear Grocery Store, where she hade worked for 28 years. She was a member of Muskingum Valley Boating Association.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel E. Smith, whom she marred Feb. 1, 1973; he father; a daughter, Shannon Rae Wheeler of Zanesville; a son, Ranger Cory Smith of Zanesville; a step-daughter, Stacey Brooke Kaszyk of Tampa, Fla.; three grandchildren, Seth Fisher, Cassidy Wheeler and Jordan Kaszyk; and two brothers, Ronald Miller and Christopher Miller, both of Zanesville.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
