About	Carl Franklin Crist, age 71, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2014 in Dayton, Ohio after a short but valiant battle with cancer. Carl was born on February 20, 1943 in Newark, Ohio to Royal ("Pat") and Pauline (Kirkpatrick) Crist. He led an interesting life; graduating from Zanesville High School in 1961, playing football for Otterbein University, concert managing for Loretta Lynn, and working as a manager in the linen industry before starting a career as a truck driver. He lived many areas of Ohio during his life before settling in Dayton in 1995. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, traveling with his family and entertaining his grandchildren with wild antics. His family is left with many fond memories to bring them comfort.Carl leaves on Earth, his wife, Leatha Rose, whom he married on January 10, 1986, his children Brian (Carolyn) Crist of Zanesville, Ohio, Cathy (Andrew) Wilson of Newark, Ohio, and Cheri (Harry) Williams of Pataskala, Ohio and Lisa (Brad) Rollings of Indianopolis, Indiana. He was also loved dearly by his grandchildren, Emily and Chelsea Crist, Cassidy and Zachary Chapman and Journey Wilson, Bailee and Payton Williams, and Lilly and Parker Rollings. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Stansberry, sister-in-law Donna Crist, nephews Mark (Louise) Crist, Jeff (Holly) Crist and niece Terry Fisk, and great neices Erica and Sierra and great nephew Rafi.Welcoming Carl to Heaven are his parents, Pat and Pauline, his brother Larry Crist, and great neice Jillian Crist.Per Carl's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Carl's life and memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Belmont Church of Christ, 3003 S. Smithville Rd. in Dayton, Ohio.
