Michael 'Mike' Henry Young, 57, died Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 5:06 p.m. at Genesis Hospice following a brief illness. Mike was born November 5, 1956 in Zanesville to the late Charles Edward and Rachel R. (Anderson) Young. He was a 1975 graduate of Zanesville High School. Mike served in the U.S. Navy from 1977 to 1981. He was dedicated to caring for others and worked for many years as a Patient Care Assistant and Trauma Technician. Mike will be sadly missed by his wife, Sara Ann Young whom he married on May 5, 1988; two sisters, Linda Willett and Kim Agnew; two very fond nephews, Randall Young and Michael Willett and a host of family and friends.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Edward Young Jr. and Ronald Young Curtis; sister, Eva Honesty and nephew, 'Dink' Willett.A memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Greater Apostolic Church of Christ, 1651 S. State Street with Elder Terrence Brown officiating.
