About	MARIETTA, GA: Dolores Evelyn Miner Barnett, 84, died Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Marietta, Georgia after a long illness. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio on December 13, 1928 a daughter of the late Arthur Edward and Mary Ann Hooper Miner. She graduated from Zanesville High School in 1946. She married Zane Marion Barnett in 1947 and he preceded her in death in 2011. She worked as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell. She was a co-owner with her husband of the Dairy Isle on Maple Ave. from 1955-1962. Later she worked for many years at Thrift Drug in the Country Fair Shopping Center, first as manager of the JC Penney catalog store and then as a clerk in the cosmetics department. She lived in Zanesville for nearly 68 years and was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church for over 40 years. She is survived by her son David (Donna) Barnett of Marietta, Georgia. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
