About	Janet L. Bowman, 82 of Zanesville passed away Wednesday September 12, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born March 25, 1930 a daughter of the late Glen and Louise Angles. She was a 1948 graduate of Zanesville High School and graduated from the Bethesda’s School of Nursing in 1951 as a Registered Nurse. She worked as an RN in Dr.’s Booth and Dr. Mackall offices before retiring in 1996; was a 60 year member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 485, a member of First Christian Church and was a volunteer at the Animal Shelter with the PAWS. She enjoyed crafts, ceramics, sewing, traveling and playing cards. Janet is survived by three sons Jeffrey (Jody) Bowman of Coshocton, Timothy (Rebecca) Bowman of Zanesville and Thomas (Kris) of Newark; grandchildren Mandy and Katie of Coshocton and Spencer and Samantha of Newark and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Bowman whom she married on August 29, 1950 and passed away August 6, 1979 and her only sibling Barbara Cotterman. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Robert E. Bowman in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
