M. Virginia Lawson, 94, of Zanesville, died at 4:25 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2012 at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born February 13, 1918 in Zanesville a daughter of the late Howard J. and Hilda Kennel Dailey. She was a lifetime member at Immanuel United Church of Christ. Mary retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Company as an operator.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Marilyn (Kenneth) Shaffer and a special nephew, Ronald L. Paisley all of Zanesville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Lawson, who died September 5, 1985 ; a sister, Helen Jean Paisley; two brothers, R. Wayne Dailey and Dr. William D. Dailey and a niece, Carol Jean Kreps.
Friends and family may call from 6:00– 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Mitch Reed officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Ronald at Zanesville Memorial Park.
