Phillip Wayne Garrison, 70, of Zanesville, passed away at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care.
He was born October 16, 1941, in Zanesville, a son of the late Wayne K. and Helen M. Barringer Garrison. He had worked for B&O Railroad and was a self employed antique dealer. Phillip enjoyed antiques and golfing.
Surviving are a son, Jeff (Lynn) Garrison of Zanesville; a daughter, Teresa (Najeeb) Mahmood; a step son, Eric (Stefanie) Robinson of Avondale; six grandchildren, Seth and Jessica Marie Garrison, Justin Curtis Robinson and Jaleigh Marie Robinson and Rashad and Idrees Mahmood; two sisters, Carole (John) Mundorff of North Canton, OH and Jane (Ray) Marple of Zanesville; several nieces and nephews; many friends and neighbors; and his spoiled Pug, Chenelle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason Jay Robinson.
Phillip will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
