About	Barbara Jean Allen, 68 of Zanesville, died at 4:19 AM Tuesday February 21st, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family following a short illness. She was born April 26th, 1943 in Zanesville, the daughter of Earl A. Baesel and Adeline Frances (Krouskoupf) Baesel. She was the wife of Clarence Edward "Ron" Allen, having been married on March 3rd , 1962 for 40 years. In her high school years, Barbara belonged to the Glennville Thomas All Ohio Youth Choir. Barbara worked at Bethesda Hospital as a ward secretary, a nurse's aide and was also a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, computer, and enjoyed many types of music. Barbara was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Barbara is survived by three daughters: Tina Marie Allen, and Teresa Ann Allen and Teressa Lou Allen (twins), all of Zanesville; seven grandchildren Danny E. Cox Jr., Taisha J. (James) Gassaway, Alexis A. Crumbaker, Bruce A. Crumbaker II, Ciara E. Crumbaker, Jade A. Allen and Takoda R. Temple; five great grandchildren Dailyn M. Cox, Alivia L. Cox, Isac R. Stewart, Dakoda J. Gassaway and Audrina R. Lawson. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence Edward "Ron" Allen Jr. who died Dec.24th, 2002 and one sister: Shirley Ann Garrett. In accordance with Barbara's wishes, a caring cremation will take place.
