FULLERTON, CALIFORNIA: Frances Roberts Havens Boyd, of Fullerton, California, died in her home on September 8, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio, on January 28, 1936 to the late Roy & Nora Roberts. While she resided in Zanesville, she worked for Tom's Ice Cream Bowl, Essex Wire and Hazel Atlas. Before retiring at 62, she worked for 32 years at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, California. After retiring, she volunteered most of her free time to helping others through an organization known as Alanon.
She is survived by her son, Randy Lee Havens of California; two sisters, Barbara Power and Faye Bee, both of Zanesville; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Roberts; and a sister, Linda Harris.
No services will be held, a dignified cremation has taken place.
