Ralph P. Brown, 70, of Zanesville, died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 5, 1940, in Zanesville, a son of the late Harry Brown and Wilma Weaver Coffey.
He had worked as a shipping clerk for Grief Brothers for several years and finally retired from the Tri-Valley Local School District as a custodian. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Ralph enjoyed camping and was a loving husband and will be missed by his family and friends.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra Brown of the home; a daughter, Carol (Kevin) Moorehead of Zanesville; three granddaughters, Jessica May of Columbus, OH and Katie and Jamie Moorehead, both of Zanesville; a brother-in-law, Larry (Lilly) Kirkbride; two sister-in-laws, Shelby (Ed) Sines and Carol (Dan) Blackford; and a special cousin, Francis Northrup.
No calling hours will be observed. A dignified cremation has taken place. Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville is entrusted with all arrangements.
