ATHENS, OH: "Bob" Larimer passed away peacefully with loving family members at his side in Athens, Ohio on September 10, 2010. He had been battling ALS (Lou Gherig's Disease) for the last four years.
Bob was born to Robert Eugene and Shirley Ann (Lambert) Larimer on June 28, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio; the second of four children. He lived most of his life in Zanesville and was employed in the automobile sales industry for 30+ years. Bob was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman.
He was predeceased by his mother; father; brother-in-law, Stan (Cathy) Feldman; and son, Dane Robert.
He is survived by his son, Cole, and Dane and Cole's mother, Patrice, of Westerville; his sister, Cathy (Larimer), of Van Nuys, CA; a sister-in-law, Debby; and brother, Chuck, of Albany; brother, John, of Athens; nephews, Adam, Evan (Chuck), and Jonathan (John), and a niece, Rachel (John).
In honoring Bob's request, there will be no funeral service. A private memorial service will be held. The family asks for your prayers and support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
