Richard D. "Rich" McDonough, 54, of Zanesville, Ohio, died Monday, July 19, 2010, in Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville.
He was born November 18, 1955, in Washington, Pennsylvania, a son of Lena Sibert McDonough of Zanesville and the late Clarence F. McDonough, Jr.
Mr. McDonough was a graduate of Zanesville High School and worked as an inspector-packer for Owens-Brockway for 33 years.
He was a huge Steelers fan and enjoyed working in his yard and gardening.
Mr. McDonough was a member of West Union Presbyterian Church.
Surviving, in addition to his mother; are a brother, Jim (Barb) McDonough of Zanesville; two sisters, Linda (Pete) Shriver and Carol (Art) Hathaway, both of Washington, Pennsylvania; six nieces and nephews, Dan (Valerie) Shriver, Tami (Brian) Boyer, Gregg (Melissa) Hathaway, Jason (Lauren) Hathaway, Erin (Brad) McDonough and Jaime McDonough; a great niece and four great nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23rd. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
