About	Richard D. Stackhouse, 50, of 31 S. Pembroke Ave., South Zanesville, died at 8:02 am Sunday, September 22, 1985 in Good Samaritan Medical Center, where he had been a patient for two weeks. Born October 7, 1934, in Zanesville, he was a son of Wiley E. and Alice M. Coyer Stackhouse. He was a life long resident of the Zanesville area, and was employed by the National Gas and Oil Corp. as a land lessor for seven years. Mr. Stackhouse was a member of the South Zanesville United Methodist Church, a veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of American Legion Post 29 and Zanesville Eagles Aerie 302, a life member of the South Zanesville Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Muskingum County Home Builders Association and formerly an active participant in area baseball, softball and bowling leagues. Surviving are his wife, the former Barbara A. Skinner of the home; one daughter, Tami Deal of Zanesville; a son, Douglas D. Stackhouse of the home; two granddaughters, Billie Jo Deal and Ann Margaret Deal; two brothers, James Stackhouse of Columbus and John Stackhouse of Zanesville; and one sister, Mariona Moore of Hebron. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Stackhouse. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery.
