| About | Mrs. Adelaide C. Morris, 78, of 3710 Dresden Road, died at 10 pm Friday, October 7, 1978 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. She had been in failing health for about one month. Mrs. Morris was born January 17, 1900 at Pitsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Collins Kaplan. She was a retired office manager of Muskingum Coal Enterprises and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Mrs. Morris was also a member of Good Samaritan Charity Circle, Association of the University of Women and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she was a member of Beta Phi Epsilon and Gamma Epsilon Phi Sororities. Her husband Roy T. Morris died on March 27, 1978. Surviving are two sisters, Misses Grace M. and Ann S. Kaplan of 1235 Jewett Drive; and two brothers, Dr. Frederick Kaplan of 3825 Frazeysburg Rd. and Charles E. Kaplan of Norris, Tennessee. Burial will be in Mount Oive Cemetery. |
