About	Joy P. Kirby, 85, of Zanesville, died at 5:35 A.M. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Meadow Grove Transitional Care, Grove City. She was born May 17, 1940, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Wilford W. and Olive (Richardson) Renicks. Joy worked as an estimate assigner for Ohio Bell- Ameritech for 33 years and was a member of First Christian Church. Joy found happiness in scrapbooking, and traveling the world. She was an avid bird watcher and she loved cats and devoted her time as a volunteer at Cedar Hill Nursing Home with her Travel Group. She survived by her son, Jason W. (Erin) Kirby; grandchildren, Grant Kirby and Paige (Jacob) Kirby-Batson; and two nephews, Eric Nichols and Todd Nichols. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Jan Nichols-Hackett; and a brother-in-law, Joe Nichols. Friends and family may call from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to funeral service which will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, with Mr. William L. Meaige officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery
