MaryAnn Ford, 76 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on November 25, 2025, at the Beckett House Nursing Home in New Concord.
She was born on November 7, 1949, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Richard Fenton and Minnie (Georgeoff) Fenton. MaryAnn graduated from Zanesville High School in 1968. She worked at Essex Wire/Lear for 33 years where she retired. She enjoyed reading, coloring, and traveling in her free time. Above all, she loved spending her time with her husband and loved ones.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Russell J. Ford; sisters, Jovita (John) Spargrove, Sheryl Hardwick, Jody Hood; brothers, Charles (Betsy) Fenton, Richard Fenton, and Clyde (Mary) Soller; brother-in-law, William Hoy, Wayne Orwig; sister-in-law, Nancy (Chuck) Kline, Anna Ford; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Sandy Hoy, Dottie Benjamin, and Vick Orwig; brother-in-law, Charles “Sonny” Hood, Terry Hardwick, Donald Benjamin, David Ford, Steven Ford; and sister-in-law, Karen Fenton.
Calling hours will be held on Friday November 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will conclude services at Williams Cemetery in Zanesville.
