About	On June 11, 2025, Jesus called Sheila Ledvinka home, leaving behind the body that so challenged her. Born November 10, 1948, in Zanesville, Ohio to Lewis and Helen Slater, she was one of four sisters. After graduating from Zanesville High School and attending Miami University, she married the love of her life, David Ledvinka, who blessed her with two daughters Amy and Emmy. David preceded her to heaven in 2006 and waited for her there. Sheila had an extraordinary career in interior design, making many lifelong friends along the way, and making memories for all the people whose lives she touched. A Parade of Homes interior design award winner, she also owned her own successful design business, Designer’s Touch, for over 40 years with clients throughout central Ohio, as well as Florida. Sheila always said how blessed she was to have not only one love, but two loves in her lifetime. She and Jim (Jimmy) were married and spent the past fifteen years together growing in love and faith. Jim’s devotion to Sheila was always present, especially in the final difficult moments of her journey. Sheila (aka She She) is survived by her husband Jim Stookey, daughters Amy Johnson and Emmy Scott, stepdaughters Megan Stookey and Amanda Holiday, grandson Colin (Cowboy) Scott, granddaughters Grace (Kracie) Scott and Vera (Sparkle) Johnson, sisters Karen Greer, Patricia Weldon, and Theresa Clark, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Since Sheila always loved throwing a party for family and friends, the family is planning a celebration of Sheila’s life for mid to late August. Cremation was handled by Hill Funeral Home in Westerville, Ohio.
