About | Jack C. Riemenschneider, 82, of Nashport, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 17, 2025. He was born September 9, 1942, in Zanesville, a son of the late Ernest O. and Etta E. (Hardesty) Riemenschneider. Jack was a graduate of Zanesville High School and fulfilled his dream of serving in the United States Air Force, and did so from 1961-1982. He served in many bases foreign and domestic, he passionately loved his county and retired with the rank of Master Sargent. Following retirement from the Military Jack worked with several telecommunication firms in Dallas, Texas, retiring in 2005. He returned to Zanesville and enjoyed the fellowship of his Church, North Terrace Church of Christ, and the camaraderie of friends regularly at the Fieldhouse, and the presence of family at numerous gatherings local and afar. Jack is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Mary (Fraunfelter) Riemenschneider of Nashport; his son Tom E. (Leslie) of Estero, Florida; a daughter, Ann E. of Park Ridge, Illinois; three grandchildren, Caitlin (James) Brown, Emily (John) Yashuk, and Jared (Tiffany) Riemenschneider; and two great grandchildren, Zachary Brown and Riley Yashuk. Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of service starting at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the North Terrace Church of Christ, 1420 Brandywine Boulevard, Zanesville, with Mr. William L. Meaige and Pastor Chris Steele officiating. Jack will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, with full Military honors accorded to him by the United States Air Force in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058.
