About Flora L. Hutcheson, 84 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

Born September 5, 1940, in Zanesville, Flora was the daughter of the late Mack and Thelma L. (Hunnel) Hawkins. She dedicated thirty-three years of hard work to Brockway Glass before her retirement.

In her earlier years she loved golfing and bowling with her late husband, Norman. She proudly cheered on her kids and grandkids at their sporting events.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Patti Hutcheson and Vicki (Rob) Lake; her grandchildren, Darci Lake and Kyle Lake; her sister, Laura Jenkins; and many dear nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law and special friends.

Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Hutcheson, who passed on January 28, 2009; as well as her siblings, Maxine Bryan, Charlene (Tom) Wilson, Jake (Mona) Hawkins, and Roy (Judy) Hawkins.

The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Oaks at Bethesda for their compassionate care and support towards Flora over the years. Also, a thank you to the Hospice Morrison House for their care for her as well.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls. A funeral service take place at 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Chaplain Tim Patton will officiate the service.
