About Sharon A. Cable, 86 of Zanesville, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Genesis Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Sharon was born on November 2, 1938, in Zanesville. She is the daughter of the late John R. and Helen A. (McKinnley) Clark. Sharon devoted 34 years of her career to Brockway Glass, working as an inspector until her retirement in 1994. She later worked as a tour guide with the Longaberger Basket Company for 14 years. Sharon was a former member of both Blue Rock Baptist Church and North Terrace Church of Christ.

Her caring spirit extended far beyond her work and church. Sharon volunteered at Good Samaritan, Bethesda, and Genesis Hospitals, where she brightened countless days from the front desk and beyond. She was also proud to be a member of Gideons International.

Above all, Sharon cherished her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and presence touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Sharon is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Wendy) Beem, Rae Anne (Brian) Jasper, Michelle (Dearl) Holt, Dawn (Larry) Smeltzer; her step-children, Patricia (Rick) Dusenberry, Susan Novaria and Mindy (Shane) Kelly, Debra Allen, and Tina (David) Cater; her thirteen grandchildren, her thirteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Terry Powell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford “Sam” Cable, whom she married on February 14, 1980, and who passed away on September 9, 2004; her twin daughters, Melinda and Melody Beem; her son, Dale Beem; a granddaughter, Leia Holt; a great grandson, Nakane Dobbert; her siblings, John Clark, Francis Clark, Albert Clark, Lela Lair, and Lela Black.

Visitations for Sharon will be held from 1 to 2 PM on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A Celebration of life will be held at 2PM following visitations at the funeral home. Pastor Tim Gifford will officiate the service.
