Ruth C. Sims Garich, 91, of Zenia, died at 4:43 am, Wednesday January 3, 2007, at Trinity Community of Beavercreek, Dayton.
She was born June 25, 1915, in Zanesville, the duaghter of the late George W. and Sophia Cooper Sims. A graduate of Lash High School Class of 1933, she was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, enjoyed rock collecting, gardening, travel and birds.
Sirviving Ruth is her daughter, Willa Rugh Deveny of Zanesville; son, Peter (Jeanne) Garich of Osprey, FL; grandchildren, Traci K. Deveny of Zanesville, Mischka J. (Steve) Winland of Zanesville, Peter (Christy) Garich of Beavercreek and Daniel ( Holly) Garich of Huber Heights; great grandchildren, Douglas Mell and Charles Mell both of Zanesville, Jordan Garich and Jared Garich both of Beavercreek.
Preceding her are her parents, husband; Peter W. "Bill" Farich, who died March 6, 2003 sisters; Dorothy Galigher and Eleanor McBride; son-in-law, Charley Deveny.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
