Carl was born in Newark, Ohio on June 16, 1956 to the late Carl Leroy Sr. and Betty Ann (Watson) Bucy. He passed away on Friday at Licking Memorial Hospital.
Carl Graduated from Zanesville High School, where he enjoyed playing on the football team. He worked for many years with B&O Railroad before retiring. He was an active member of Northside Church of Christ. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing and hunting. Most important to Carl was spending time with his family, especially going out to dinner and having picnics with his loving wife, Patti.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Patricia (Smaltz) Watson, whom he married on April 25, 1994; son, Shawn; daughter, Felicia Holdsworth; grandchildren, Lindsey and Branden Holdsworth; brothers and sisters, Maxine Bailey, Jim (Mary) Watson, Jeff Watson, Bob Watson, Mike (Debbie) Watson, Jackie Danison and Katie (Bob) Mall; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Don Watson, Norma Lee Sunkle, Connie Campbell, Diane Scheffler and William Scheffler, Jr.
