Nancy C. Fawcett. 88, of Trinway, made her final journey to be with her loving Lord and Savior on January 17, 2025, following a brief illness and is now reunited with her husband, Harold. She was born August 10, 1936 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Philip E. and Miriam (Seevers) Cohen. Nancy graduated from Zanesville High School in 1955, and worked at Citizens National Bank for many years. She attended the Shepherd’s Christian Assembly Church. Nancy enjoyed Square Dancing with her late husband, collecting shoes and clothes, and was affectionately known as “Fancy Nancy.”
Nancy is survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Cohen; her nieces, Celeste Warne and Jennifer (Ryan) Herb; her nephews, Edgar (Nancy) Cohen, Jr., Philip Cohen, Sr. and Brian Cohen; a step-nephew, Jeffery; her great-nieces, Angelica (Dustin) Blair, Keeley (Zachary) Mickle, Jessica Cohen, Shayla (Gustavo) Velaquez, and Haven Cohen; her great-nephews Ryan (Tori) Cohen, Philip (Karigan) Cohen, Jr. and Jacob Cohen; and many great-great nieces and nephews, friends, including her special friend, Mickey Burris.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold R. Fawcett who passed away on December 6, 2013; an infant brother, Donald Lee Cohen; her sister, Betty Lou Cohen in 1968; and her brother, Edgar C. Cohen, Sr. and many grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Friends and family may call from 12:00 Noon until time of Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, with Pastor Starkey Lawrence officiating.
