About | Shalawn Taylor Havener, 50, of Zanesville, Ohio entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from her home, surrounded by those who loved her. Shalawn was born July 19, 1974, in Zanesville, daughter of William E. Taylor and Katherine McCary. In addition to her father, Shalawn was also welcomed into peace by her grandmother, Mary Ann Felix; her favorite cousin, Kisha Churchill; mother-in-law, Annette Havener; nephew, Sheyallen Herd; grandfather, Bernard L. Miller; cousin, Otis Bailey; and uncle, Paul Felix. Shalawn leaves to miss and remember her, her loving and dedicated husband, Shawndale Havener; beloved children, LaBryant McClellan, Mariah Greer, Mattiana (Alicia Neff) Johnson, Camry (John) Kennedy and Karrera Morrison; cherished grandchildren, Rishaad Cason, Rakeem Cason, Antonio Marigny, Jr., Jaxx Kennedy and Kyese Kennedy; mother, Katherine McCary; seven sisters; two brothers; two sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; special niece, Emoney Smith; favorite cousins, Missi and Will Herd; special loved ones, Desirae and Wesley, Tyrone Mullins, Thorne Staunton, Gail Havener and all of her extra 'adopted' children; as well as numerous other loved ones and many, many friends. Shalawn was the sweetest, most caring woman. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need and she loved helping others. Shalawn gave the best, most heartfelt advice. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren doing various crafts. Shalawn was known to enjoy a good shopping spree and loved designer handbags. She also enjoyed collecting all things Mickey Mouse and hummingbird related. Shalawn was known as the neighborhood mother, giving her love, warmth and advice to all. She truly had a huge impact on every person she came into contact with/ Shalawn will be deeply missed. Per Shalawn's wishes cremation has been chosen. You may join the family on Friday, January 10, 2024, from 10 am until 11 am with a memorial services starting at 11 a.m. at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville.
