Charles Henry Sode, 81, of 1358 Coopermill Road, died at 4 pm Sunday December 28, 1980 at Good Samaritan Medical Center following a one year illness.
Mr. Sode, retired owner-operator of Strand Billiard, was born December 25, 1899, in Zanesville, the son of Charles and Catherine Hart Sode.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, the former Jessie Parsons; three sons, Albert A. of Mascotte, FL, Charles F. of Mount Perry, Ohio, and John H. of 268 Gray St.; one daughter, Mrs. Eleanore Shrider of Old Coopernill Rd.; three brothers, Ernest of California, Fred of Mount Perry and John of Waverly, VA; two sister, Mrs Marie DeVol of 751 St. Louis Ave. and Mrs. Margaret Barr of Columbus; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
