Harold E. Teisinger, 87, of Zanesville, died at 2:20 am Monday, June 17, 2002, at Genesis-Good Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.
Born July 11, 1914, in Zanesville, he was a graduate of Lash High School, Class of 1933, and a retired letter carrier for the US Postal Service, retireing in 1984 after 35 years of service. He was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 29, Timber Run Grange for 75 years, and was a veteran of the Army Air Corps in World Was II.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian McElfresh Teisinger, whom he married August 3, 1950, of the home; a daughter, Jean (Charles) Murphy of Zanesville; three grandchildren, Jeffrey D. Paul, Vincent E. Paul and Angela K. Woosley, all of Zanesville; three great-grandchildren, Kelsey Woosley, Lauren and Madison Paul; a sister; Eleamor (Andy) Titko of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
