About	Bess M. Herron-Jones, 98, of Zanesville, died at 6:10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Willow Haven Nursing Home. She was born July 22, 1910, in Zanesville to the late Earl and Anna Mary Offenbacher Goshen. Bess attended the Meredith Business College and retired from the former First Trust Bank in 1975. She was passionate about her family and enjoyed doing many things with them as well as for them. Surviving her is a daughter, Sally (Ken) Brown of Zanesville; a step-daugher, Evelyn (Dave) McElfresh; grandsons: Chad (Jodi) Riggle and Drew (Holly) Riggle, all of Zanesville; step-grandchildren: Tim McElfresh of Columbus and Ann McElfresh of Atlanta, Ga; and the highlight of her life, her two great-granddaughters, Hannah and Emily Riggle of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. Charles Herron in 1948; her second husband, Hubert W. Jones in 1992; a brother, William Goshen; and two sisters, Mildred Burley and Leota Drake. Honoring Bess's request, there will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. Bryan & Snider Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements.
