Robert Lewis Davis, 81, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Licking Memorial Emergency Room.
He was born in Zanesville on January 3, 1943, to the late Harold Lewis Davis and Janice Smith Stallsmith. He retired from Rockwell International in Newark and enjoyed golf, billiards, country music, horses, Cleveland Indians and the Cincinnati Bengals. Bob was Baptist by faith and saved by grace. He served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the United States Navy.
He is survived by four children: Doreen (Mike) Maurer, Martha (Ben) Kennedy, Bob (Lori) Davis, and Rosemary Davis; the mother of his children Mary A. Wilson; a brother William Harold (Lorna) Davis; 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he will be reunited in Heaven by a great-grandson Owen Parker Davis.
Visitation will be from 11am -1pm on Tuesday January 16 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will follow at 1pm in the Snouffer Chapel with his daughter Doreen and son Bob officiating. Entombment will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Mausoleum with full Military Honors by V.F.W. Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.
