John David “Dave” Redman, 80 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully, 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at his home. He was born Saturday, July 24, 1943, in Zanesville, the son of John William Redman and Bessie Mildred (McGee) Redman. He married Cynthia “Cindy” (Woodward) Redman on Friday, February 24, 1967.
Dave was a journeyman machinist retiring from Stewart Glapat as plant manager following many years of service. He served in the United States Army Reserve and loved talking on his HAM Radio, working on race cars and his motorcycle.
In addition to his wife of over 56 years Dave is survived by, one son, David C. Redman of the home, one daughter, Kelly (Jonathan) Kappes of Hilton Head, SC; one sister Patricia “Pat” (Bill) Colbert of Crooksville; one brother-in-law, Rick Woodward and one sister-in-law, Melanie Bucci both of Zanesville and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings; Marilyn, Sally, Noreen, Judy and Mike.
Graveside Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, February 12, 2024, in Zanesville Memorial Park,
