About	Ann Marie Hess, 79 of Zanesville died at 5:40 PM Thursday, November 23, 2023 at the Altercare of Zanesville. She was born on Tuesday, December 14,1943 in Zanesville, Ohio and was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Ann graduated from Zanesville High School in 1962 and from the Ohio State University in 1967 with a B.S. in German. Ann taught German at Zanesville High School, and then elected to stay at home to raise a family. She is survived by a son, Bryan K. Hess & spouse, Jay E Moore ; two daughters, Wendy A. Hess & Jennifer S. (Nick) Hess Patthoff; grandchildren, Ruby Patthoff and Nelson Patthoff; and a brother, Thomas A. Bryan. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Amos Bryan and Helen Wenzler Bryan; her husband, Nelson Keith Hess and her twin sister, Sue Fulkerson. Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home followed by graveside funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Andrew Wilson officiating.
