David E. Allton, 81, of Zanesville, died at 4:45 A.M. on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at The Oaks at Northpointe. He was born August 23, 1932, in Zanesville, a son of the late Lawrence E. and Verna Norman Allton. He was a member of and retired as Custodian from Fair Oaks Baptist Church.
Surviving are a brother, Charles (Jeanette) Allton of Ashland; a sister, Barbara (George) Pepper of Zanesville and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Allton.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. till time of funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Mr. Chris Steele officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his parents at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
