About	Barbara "Barb" L. Rock, age 84 of Zanesville, OH passed away, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville, following a lengthy illness. She was born Monday, July 18, 1938, in Zanesville, the daughter of Albert Schamm and Ruth (Miles) Schamm. She was married to Charles "Chuck" Rock who preceded her in death on Saturday, January 13, 2017. Barb was an active member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church where she served as Eucharistic Minister for many years and was the Staffing Coordinator of Nursing Services at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her Children: Todd (Michelle) Rock, Keely (Dana) Matz, Eric (Jacque) Rock, Kyle (Maria) Rock, Dustin (Jessica) Rock, Teresa (Darin) Jordan, Tristan (Kathleen) Rock, and Ashleigh (Wesley) Harvey; Grandchildren: Abbey (Brandon) Bates, Dakota (Rachel) Matz, Cheyenne Matz, Misty (Eric) Gabriel, Kilie, Kassidy, and Kade Rock, Ryder and Rayna Rock, Brittany, Caleb and Jacob Jordan; Great-grandkids; Cohen & Dylan Bates, Whillow Matz, Avereigh, and Ellianna Harvey and one on the way, Raider Rock, Cash and Haze Jordan; several nieces and nephews, and special friends; Eric Gaumer, Brent Harper, Christy and Jim Watson, Janice Clark and Chris Dodson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Walt Stadler. The family would like to thank all the doctors and staff at the Genesis 4th floor and Genesis Hospice for all the compassionate care Barb received. Friends may call from 4-7 PM, on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, and from 10-11 AM, Monday, December 19, 2022. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 19, 2022, at funeral home, with Fr. Martin Ralko officiating. Burial will conclude in the Mount Olive Cemetery Zanesville.
