KNIGHTDALE – Charles Edward Flowers, 82, a good and faithful servant of the Lord ascended to his Heavenly home on Sunday. He was born in Wake County on October 13, 1939, to the late Paul Wilson & Margaret Chappell Flowers. He was a construction supervisor at WakeMed. Charles loved the Lord and enjoyed being with his family.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of over 61 years, Linda Eatmon Flowers his daughter, Kellie Flowers Young (Daniel), siblings, Fred Flowers (Carol), Melba Chard (Walter), and granddaughter, Amy Young, several nieces, nephews, extended family, and beloved dog, Sweetpea.
Graveside service 2 pm, Wednesday, Greenmount Cemetery, Wendell.
