About	Alice Rose Bryan, 84 of Zanesville, died at 9:04 AM Friday, October 14, 2022 at Primrose Retirement Community under the care of Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born April 29, 1938 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of John Thress and Bonita “Bonnie” Smith Thress . Alice was a lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and was active in the community. Alice served on the boards of Zanesville Day Nursery and Bethesda Guild. She was a member of Buckeye Lake Yacht Club and a former member of Zanesville Country Club and Assembly Club. For decades she helped organize the Zanesville High School class of 1956 reunions as the class Treasurer. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Arthur Bryan whom she married April 24, 1970; her children, Mark A. Watson (Kathy) and Michael T. Bryan (Carey) along with her granddaughter Kaleigh Lambert (Joe), step-granddaughters Isabella Detoto and Samantha Detoto, her great-grandson, Bodhi Lambert, her sister Mary Ann Lentz (Bill) and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her brother John Thress and sister-in-law, Ruth Thress. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM -5:00 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2022 and funeral service at 11:00 AM Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Wilson officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
