About	J. Arlene Crooks, 89 of Zanesville, died 1:16 PM, Monday, August 8, 2022, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice. She was born Tuesday, December 13, 1932, in Zanesville, the daughter of Earl Moore and Gladys (Rossiter) Moore. She was married to Forest Richard Crooks who preceded her in death, and was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Arlene worked for First National Bank and the Colony Square Mall Hallmark Store for many years. She was an avid euchre player, belonging to the same euchre club for over sixty years. She enjoyed gardening, and had a deep love for music, mastering the organ and piano. She volunteered with the Helen Purcell Home, and the Carr Center for many years. Arlene loved all animals, especially her pets. Arlene is survived by one daughter, Cathy (Tim) Ryan of Canal Winchester, and a host of family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Arlene was preceded in death by one brother, William Moore and sister-in-law, Gini Moore. Private Graveside Services have been held.
