Russell S. Dozer, 53, of 203 N. Wood Blvd., Greencastle, Ind., died Friday at 167 E. Weber Rd., Columbus. He had been librarian at DePauw University, Greencastle.
Surviving are his wife, Maribel; two daughters, Anne and Ellen, at home; his father, P. W. Dozer; and a brother, Donald Dozer, both of Santa Barbara, Calif.
He was a member of the Gobin Methodist Church in Greencastle, Kiwanis International, The American Library Association, and Mid-West Academic Librarians Conference. He was a veteran of World War II.
He received a bachelor of arts degree from the College of Wooster, and a master's degree from Ohio State University. He did graduate work at Harvard and the University of Chicago.
Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Rutherford Chapel, 2383 N. High St., Columbus. Burial will be in the Caldwell Cemetery at Richmond Dale.
