About	Bessie M. Strauss, 95, of Zanesville, died at 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her home. She was born May 1, 1926, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late John and Ivy (Moore) Vousden. She retired from Essex wire. She is survived by two grandsons, Dr. Scott (Stacie) Hopper and Phillip (Corinna) Hopper; a son-in-law, Patrick Hopper; a great-granddaughter, Julie Hopper; special friends, Lynda King and Beth Ingram; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip M. Strauss who died in August 1995; a daughter, Kandus Hopper; three brothers, Charles, John, and Albert Vousden; and two sisters, Margoret Leffler and Mary Wheeler.
