Born January 2, 1906, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of Frank and Ethel Bonifield. Married Rudoph (Rudy) Speed.
Mrs. Florence (Peggy) Speed, 60, of 708 Frankling Ave., Belpre, died at 5 am Wednesday (July 27) at the Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg, WV, after a long illness.
Born in Gratiot on January 2, 1906, she was the daughter of Frank and Ethel Bell Bonifield. She was a former first and second grade teacher at the Monroe School. She left Zanesville in 1948 to teach in Atlanta, Georgia and returned to the Parkersburg area in 1961. She was a member of the Belpre Methodist Church. Her Husband, Rudy Speed died in 1949.
Surviving are a brother, James R. Bonifield of the Zane Motor Inn; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Williams of 950 1/2 Orchard St., and Mrs. W. L. (Kathryn) Gorley of Caldwell, Idaho; a sister-in-law with whom she made her home, Mrs. John (Edna) Bonifield; and several nieces and nephews
