Audrey M. Snider, 95 of Pataskala, formerly of Zanesville died at 11:46 PM Saturday, January 15, 2022 under hospice care at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark Ohio following a brief illness.
She was born on Thursday, May 6, 1926 in Zanesville Ohio the daughter of Paul Blackford and Josephine (Krouskoupf) Billman Blackford.
Audrey was a lifelong member of Market Street Baptist Church and early in her life, during WWII she worked at the Firestone Fuel Cell & Munitions Factory in Zanesville, near Monroe Street Bridge, making hand grenades for the war effort. After this, she was also employed for a time at McGraw Edison / Line Material which later became Copper Industries.
She is survived by a son, Mark (Lori) Snider; her grandchildren, Isabella Snider, Jason (Faith) Snider, Aaron (Emily) Teters, Travis Teters; her step-grandchildren, Ben (Taylor ) Rankin and Zoe Rankin; her great grandchildren, Eli Snider, Lane Snider and Riley Rankin. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John R. (Dick) Snider, and a daughter Pamela Jo (Snider) Teters
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 with Pastor Brian Potts officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Military Rd
