About	Barbara L. Rector, 83, of Zanesville, died at 11:59 A.M. Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Brookdale Senior Living, Zanesville. She was born March 2, 1938, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Rudolph L. and Hazel L. Painter Russi. She graduated from Zanesville High School Class of 1956 then graduated from Meredith Business College. She retired from East Muskingum Water Authority where she was the office manager. Barbara was an active member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church where she worked the Fair Stand, Nursery and the Banquet Committee. She loved quilting and camping but especially loved to attend her grandchildren's activities. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Carl Dean Rector, whom she married October 3, 1958; two daughters, Wendy (Greg) Hunter and Robin (Matthew) Powell; a son, Brad (Lisa) Rector; seven grandchildren, Jeremiah, Amanda, Donnie, Adam, Drew, Ryan, Sarah, and Evan and three great grandchildren, Annabelle, Clara and Harper. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Kay Bottomley and a grandson, Jeremiah Binckley. Private family services will be held with Pastor Linda Morrow officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville.
