About	Tommie Jim Paisley, 82, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 24, 2022. He was born June 27, 1939, in Zanesville to the late Dana and Marguerite Fields Paisley. He was a graduate of Zanesville High School. He retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol as a Senior Sergeant. Tommie also worked as the Director of Security at Muskingum College and retired as a courier for Genesis and Community Ambulance. As a devout born-again Christian, he was a member of the Maranatha Bible Church. He was also a member of the Zanesville Jaycees and Retired State Trooper Association. He was a dedicated family man. Surviving is his wife of 59 years Linda Pryor Paisley, whom he married September 2, 1962; three children: Mike (Darla) Paisley, Mollie Hansen and Matthew (Julie) Paisley; a sister Donna (Gary) Weygant; sisters in law Margot Paisley, Sandy Hayner and Cheryl Balderson; grandchildren: Tyler Erickson, Travis Pillow, Brianna Smedley, Camryn Paisley and Isabella Hansen and Mari-Kate and Noah Paisley; and a great grandchild Grayson Devendorf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Sam Paisley; a sister Sallie Bebout; and brothers in law: Jim Balderson and Jim Hayner. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM Friday, February 4 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, February 5 at Maranatha Bible Church, 2400 Chandlersville Road, with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
