About	Rex Beisser was born July 26, 1946, the son of Mildred Beisser of Zanesville, Ohio. In September of 1966 Rex obtained an Associates Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Sams Technical Institute, Inc. in Indiana prior to entering the U.S. Navy where he attained the grade of EA7. He served with the elite Seabees Fourth Mobile Construction Battlion in Da Nang, Republic of Vietnam in 1969. EA3 Beisser was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal, Combat V designation and the Navy's Distinguished Service Medal. In 1972 he was divorced from Alice Beisser in Geneve, Ohio.
